He wants to completely isolate us from Iraq and stop military spending. That's just gonna get us ripped up when they fire nuclear warheads at everyone.
iraq is too busy with ethnic riots to go to war with anyone if they even had an army, or tanks, or ships, or nuclear missiles.

You know, I think he might be meaning to say Iran, but either way we shouldn't be too worried about them.

Even so, dismissing them as nothing isn't wise in my mind.

Do you seriously think we spent that nuclear arms race making missiles without also developing countermeasures against the ones the Soviets were? If Iraq tries to nuke us their missiles will be intercepted.

Of course, that's assuming that Iraq even has any nuclear missiles, that those missiles are capable of reaching the US, and that they're going to want to nuke us because we stopped being nosy pricks playing policeman.

I didn't mean that I thought that was stupid.

Dismissing them as nothing is just not smart to me.

What about Israel? What if they decide to blow apart Israel?

It's not dismissing them, it's just putting them very low on the list of possible threats.

Why the hell should we care about what happens to Israel?

Okay, I can settle with that.

Why the hell should we care about what happens to Israel?

It's becoming increasingly difficult not to bring religion into this discussion.

Destroying Israel and most likely Jerusalem will offend Muslims, Christians, and Jews. All would be bad to have against you.

Okay?
We aren't destroying Israel though.

Okay?
We aren't destroying Israel though.

The three mentioned religions want Israel protected, though.

Well you said who cares what happens to Israel.

You said they would be "bad to have against you" but they wouldn't be against the U.S. seeing as how we aren't the ones destroying Israel.

They can defend themselves.

You as in Iran or whoever. Most of the Middle East would likely turn against them.

Okay, so it looks like Israel's covered. Now can we focus on our own problems?

Bidness, I'd love to love Ron Paul but he's a fundy christian. He's anti-abortion, pro-prayer in schools, etc.

Even if all of his business and economic strategies are solid, is it really worth having another loving evangelical in the whitehouse?

Would you rather have a man that a group of people believe to be a prophet?

I'm pretty sure Ron Paul has a much stronger cult following than Obama.
