Author Topic: Getting OpenGL  (Read 3573 times)

How would I go about doing this?

You wouldn't.
OpenGL isn't an external thing like DirectX.
(That's to my knowledge)

But on some things (not nessacarly BL) it says "<program> has detected that you have no proper OpenGL drivers to allow it to run."

???

OpenGL is a free rendering engine that should be packaged with your video card drivers, or is already compiled (and possibly modified) within the game's engine.

open it like a can of pickles

[sarcasm] Oh, I haven't tryed that and looked at everything there.[/sarcasm]

Already tried that.

And what happened?  What video card do you have?  You shouldn't have to download anything special to get openGL to run, it's part of the video drivers.

Sorry for not being clearer. Well, the download/installtion went fine,  but the same old error appeared.

What's your video card?
Assuming your using Windows,
Press Start > Run > type in dxdiag > click the Display tab > should be under card name.
