I've noticed that if I use XFire, and play blockland, it doesn't show it, could someone make it so ppl can see I'm playing blockland?

xfire.com

Dude, You ever had an Xfire Update? Damnit, it says new supported games. It obviously wouldn't detect something and somehow find it's a program you want people to see and display it on the site. Blockland is not supported because it's not even a small community, we are barely noticeable compared to anything else on the internet. You have to manually set it up, and then the site doesn't show it.

Hey digmaster, Xfire isn't showing how long I've spent on research sites in the last week, can you help me?

Here's a tutorial for the old version of Blockland.

Ty for linking to my tutorial! I just need to update it for blockland retail, but it would be really easy.

You would update the windows registry key to point ot retail, then you would modify xfire_games.ini, put in at the bottom:

Code: [Select]
[xxxx(the next number that the last gamecode uses)] LongName=Retail Blockland LauncherDirKey=HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Blockland LauncherDirTruncAt=Blockland.exe LauncherExe=Blockland.exe LauncherPasswordArgs=%UA_SPACE% -password %UA_GAME_HOST_PASSWORD% LauncherNetworkArgs=%UA_SPACE% -connect IP:%UA_GAME_HOST_NAME%:%UA_GAME_HOST_PORT%%UA_LAUNCHER_PASSWORD_ARGS% LauncherExtraArgs= -game rtb Launch=%UA_LAUNCHER_EXE_PATH% -online %UA_LAUNCHER_EXTRA_ARGS% %UA_LAUNCHER_NETWORK_ARGS% ServerStatusType=lego InGameRenderer=OGL
To clairify the 4 digit number thing, if the gamecode before it starts with [5000] you would put in [5001]

And when Badspot releases the code to connect to a server with an arguement on the exe, then I can update this to include Join Game support.

Dude, he assumes Xfire instantly knows a game is open when the game needs to be supported. as I said in there, I did say you could manually do it, but it wouldn't show on-site :/ Just pisses me off when someones asks something stupid like that when they should know this...as I said, Xfire has new supported game list on Update pages and when it starts up, it says "Detecting Supported Games" So he should understand if Blockland is supported...

He apparently understands that it is not supported.

He's asking for a manual fix. Instead of telling him how to do it or linking him to that thread, you explode on him for no reason.

Dude, he asked...I give up, shut up No Karma Loss :'(
* Rolland runs off crying *

Btw, I've had Xfire for 3-4 years now, so when I get a question about it like this, makes me mad. I'm not going to explain, Karma got me confused

I don't think I've seen you actually be helpful in this thread yet. No links, no proper explanation... Just arguing. Get over yourself and help out if you're going to make the effort to post.
