Actually there's hardly much you can do to change the coloring.

Here's the actual image. The color of the xp orb changed from green to yellow the more static it is for some reason. Like a lot of images, it's supposed to be greyscale.

Yes, it uses a specific shading. The exp orbs are coded in or something. I don't know how to change the color, at least.

I'll go check it out.

I think that if you can, you should make it so that the smaller exp orbs are lighter, and then the bigger ones are darker.

The same person whose texture pack barely survived a week in Creativity without him bumping it several times. On top of that he launched the topic for his pack just two or three days after you made yours.
