After seeing what real life birch wood looks like, I tried to base the texture off of it.




edit: brightened wood outlines to make it blend a smidgen more. I like how it turned out.

I thought it was going to turn out choppy and loop horribly but this is fantastic.

Also my favorite planks is Pine. I put most of the effort into that to make it a good roofing material.
