Author Topic: I went paintballing today for the first time.  (Read 913 times)

It was awesome. During the first few games, I was really paranoid. It was a friend's party. We played at Fields of Fire in Los Angeles. We played twelve total games. I'll list them out.

Game 1 - Hyperball - First time playing. Ever. I got hit on the gun when I made a noob mistake of having the gun stick out from behind the cylindrical bunker.
Game 2 - Hyperball - I surrendered like a wussy. They weren't even anywhere near me, I was just freaking out.
Game 3 - Hyperball - I got shot right in the goggles. It actually didn't hurt at all. I then was told getting hit in the mask/goggles hurts the LEAST. Wooh boy D:
Game 4 - Hyperball - Surrendered due to overfogged goggles.
Game 5 - Woodsball - I hung back in the base. We ran out of time.
Game 6 - Woodsball (Bomber) - Ran out of time again. We didn't get the "bomb" even a 1/4th of the way down the field.
Game 7 - Airball (Parents vs kids) - Kids won. I hid back the whole time. D:
Game 8 - Airball - I get hit in my thumb. The pain is so severe I cant raise my arm to signal that I'm out so I get hit about 30 more times leaving the field.
Game 9 - Did not participate because of thumb.
Game 10 - Did not participate because of thumb.
Game 11 - Woodsball (Defend the wall) (Team Defenders) - We defended the wall successfully in the allotted time. We didn't even see the other team, they were hiding and sniping failingly.
Game 12 - Woodsball (Sniper*) - I got shot about halfway through on the top of my head. I kept my head in the sniper hole too long. Didn't feel a thing hardly.

Pizza.
Cake.
Moar caaaek.

Yeah, it was a great first experience. Aside from my thumb, which is still throbbing.

*Sniper is a game of woodsball where each team has to stay at their end of the field, not moving up. Sniping is key.

Keep in mind most of the people there were 11-14, but a few parents played, and I believe a few 16-17 year olds played too.

Paintball sounds so awesome. Sounds like a good time, despite the thumb.

You sound like a wuss.

Paintballing is fun minus the pain. I tend to hang back and give supporting fire to teammates that move up faster.

LOL. Wuss.

LOL. Wuss.

You probably do the same thing :3

Last time I played paintball the other team was a bunch of richards. I got shot in the thigh, then got up to leave and they shot in both shoulders, the goggles, and the chest. Meanies. :C

Actually, On my first game. Me and my cousin were the only ones on our teaam due to pussies. TTher were many pros on the other team. I was hit everwhere. It was fun as hell tho.

My dad loves paintball, he's got a bunch of stuff for it. I remember him letting me shoot at the fence with his paintball guns when I was younger.
Other than that, I've never wanted to play paintball because I hate getting hurt.

I snipe when I play airsoft.

You'd be surprised how easy it is with a 350 fps spring rifle.

I want to go paintballing. I figure 13 is old enuff.

I don't airsoft or paintball but something doesn't add up here. A sniper with 350 frames per second. Even if you meant 350 shots per minute or similar, it's a sniper. I am confused.

Its feet per second SCRUB

Paintball is fun besides how expensive it is.

That's why I want to play airsoft rather then paintball.
For airsoft you have to pay a stuff to get a gun then from there ammo is cheap. (You want to pay $150+ for airsoft to get a nice full metal gun)
