What? We lost a few less jobs? You think John working at a GM factory wants to keep his steady income to feed his children, or perhaps get fired and lose all benefits from his that cozy luxury life when he could afford necessities?
Honestly, a bailout was necessary. It was key, and it happened. Nothing can be done about it anymore, but tons of things can be done for our struggling economy today, things that need to be done, but can't be agreed upon by a few hundred men and women that couldn't compromise to save their lives.
Place the blame on whoever you want, the President, the GOP, the Democrats, Wall Street, etc. But at least notice that people are trying to get things done, and a broken bureaucracy is what is preventing it.
