I know this isn't exactly news, but aside from the creepy incest doujin one experiences crossing the Internet, the entire loving culture is forgeted in the head.
I take Japanese as my required in language in Highschool because Spanish sucks and I'd rather learn a non-latin based language. For some reason part of the curriculum is learning about these weird forgets.

just autotune on their voice. In Japan, people spend millions of dollars developing loving 3D HOLOGRAM TECHNOLOGY and hosting psuedo-raves to worship their idol which is a computer generated voice and animated character to go along with it.
Since this culture seems to appeal to a minority of people, I actually have some of these weird forgets in my class. There is a group of people at my school that literally puts on makeup and florescently colored wigs imitating anime characters (one of them is the girl in the video example) and painting Kanji symbols on their face.
