Author Topic: Japanese people are disordered.  (Read 6861 times)

No, it's not.

Get a new teacher.
He's the only teacher at my school. How about you get a new loving attitude?

Have you ever sat and wondered why people like her so much? For musicians, it's a great and simple way to get vocals on your
accompaniment. It's a flexible program that almost anyone can use if they try hard enough.
I'm not insulting the software. It IS great software. It is amazing software. It is revolutionary software. That doesn't mean one of the voices should have an entire fan base and rave parties and such under her name. She should be used to improve people's music with vocals, not be a singer herself with a backup band.
A lot of Japanese people shun stuff like Miku. I'd say that her fanbase is nearly equal in America as it is in Japan.
Miku isn't the only reason I dislike Japanese culture.

Otaku culture is mostly looked down upon in Japan, yet you're talking like every last person in Japan is obsessed with her.
I never said every last person in Japan is obsessed with her. I said their culture is accepting and even supportive to her.

Even if they were, what difference does it make? What harm does it do?
It does no harm. I voiced an opinion.

Obsessions with celebrities occur everywhere, so how is it any different when it's a fictional character?
My issue is that it is a fictional character. I see no reason why a fictional character should be idolized.
Japanese culture is different from American culture. Different doesn't equate to bad. You're just being closed minded about it just because you have no interest in it.
I never said it was bad. I said I don't like it.

I'll agree with you on that.

Can you give more reasons on why you dislike it enough to state that they're "disordered?"

The title of the thread makes it seem like you think it's bad.

to be quite honest I think this is almost as frustrating as bronies
but japan is pretty awesome in its entirety, besides stuff like this

Can you give more reasons on why you dislike it?
I simply don't like it because it's not an actual talented person they're cheering for. It's a computer program. No one worked hard and earned those cheers, the cheers aren't even received by a real person as encouragement and admiration. The program doesn't care. Idolize someone with talent.

It's a provocative title that exaggerates my opinion to describe the topic.

How about you get a new loving attitude?

Says the guy with tunnel-vision.

No one worked hard

Who do you think made the BGM, and who do you think made the lyrics and plugged them into the program. Allah?

Miku isn't the only reason I dislike Japanese culture.

You dislike it solely because it's different.

I never said every last person in Japan is obsessed with her. I said their culture is accepting and even supportive to her.

So the culture being accepting of something, even if they don't have an interest in it, is a bad thing? Since when is tolerance bad?

I simply don't like it because it's not an actual talented person they're cheering for. It's a computer program. No one worked hard and earned those cheers, the cheers aren't even received by a real person as encouragement and admiration. The program doesn't care. Idolize someone with talent.

People work on the songs, and the outfits for her. When people are cheering, they're also cheering for the creators. You do know that there are tons of idol groups in Japan that receive way more recognition than Miku, right? A prime example would be AKB48 or Morning Musume. Also, judging by your severe dislike of Miku, you'd probably hate iDOLM@STER as well.

Who do you think made the BGM, and who do you think made the lyrics and plugged them into the program. Allah?

ITT; Guy who is learning the language of a nation he hates the culture of instead of a language he might actually use, feels he has the right to make narrow-minded complaints and throw a tantrum about how that culture is different in a nation which he will never feel compelled to visit.

You're a narrow minded forget and you have no right to complain if you're only learning the language because you didn't want to learn Spanish or another language like German or French

Japan is a prime example of Humanity, plus they're superior. I'd go to a Hatsune Miku concert.

Everyone there is mega gay but I wouldn't consider that Japanese culture.

Riot has a pretty legitimate opinion and he's a pretty cool guy.
I'll be voting for him next week

Also Vocaloid is awesome and your whining about it being stupid changes nothing.
I'd go to a Hatsune Miku concert.
Also this.

Every country is handicapped in it's own special way.
