If you have a Dell XPS and are stuck on Intel's crap integrated graphics and want to use the Nvidia graphics card then continue reading, this will probably solve your problem. Simply at the top on the "Manage 3D Settings" tab, there is a button that says "Preferred Graphics processor", by default it is set to "Auto-select". Just click on that and select "High Performance Nvidia" or something similar to that.
If you do not see the button then continue reading1. If you have not updated your graphics card drivers within 6 months since you bought your computer you should upgrade your drivers first. In order for you to upgrade your drivers for Nvidia you need to open up the Nvidia Control Panel by right clicking on your Desktop and selecting "Nvidia Control Panel" like I did in the image below.
Click on "Manage 3D settings" on the top left and look for where it says "CUDA - GPUS". Then click on where it says "All" and your graphics card name should come up.
2. Now that you know what your graphics card is called we can download the drivers, you can go to:

OR
http://www.geforce.com/Drivers - For BETA drivers
(You may want the BETA drivers if you plan to run any other games such as Battlefield 3, even if you are not going to play intense and demanding games, you can still download the BETA drivers.) 3. After you have downloaded your drivers
and restarted your computer, you can re-open the control panel and go to "Manage 3D Settings". there should be a button at the top that says "Preferred Graphics processor", by default it is set to "Auto-select". Just click on that and select "High Performance Nvidia" or something similar to that.
