Cats or dogs?

dogs you can train them, there loyal, there smarter than cats, they show affection, and of course the amazing rescue dogs

then there are cats, fluffy, annoying, adorable, animals that literally do nothing except hunt if you keep them outdoors

dogs suck. pets that are needy are good for people with low self esteem. but i cant stand them loving following me around and begging.

cats are awesome, they dont need you, they instead appreciate you.

I might have to go with dogs, one reason being dogs are more well-known.  When you look at a dog, you think, "Hey, that's a *insert breed here*." When you see a cat, you just think, "Hey, a cat"!

I prefer cats, got 3 of em at home. Easy to calm them down.

Dogs are more playful.

I like cats way better.  Just show them the litter box, there food, and the door and they are all set. 
You need to spend weeks or months training your dog everything.

Cats are much cleaner. Whenever I pet a dog, I feel the terrible need to wash my hands. Dogs are good if you like to go outside, but cats will curl up with you when you play a game or watch a movie.
