>Attempt to access computer.

>Look for files detailing life, stasis, rampancy, etc.

You wade through the water over to the computer. On it's screen, you see:

>SELECT CLASS:
>CRCS
>VTS
>BCS
>SELECT A CLASS TO VIEW IT'S INFORMATION
>TO CONFIRM, SELECT "OK"
>YOU WILL BE ABLE TO CHANGE YOUR CLASS THE NEXT TIME YOU FIND THIS TERMINAL.

You decide you might as well see what each of them are about. Gently tapping the screen, you select the "CRCS" class.

>CYCLE ROUND COMBAT SYSTEM
>THIS SYSTEM IS BEST A SPEED AND DEFENSE
>DUE TO IT'S OLD NATURE, IT FUNCTIONS ON A "TURN" BASIS.

You then select the "VTS" class.

>VECTOR TARGETING SYSTEM
>THIS SYSTEM HAS AN INCREDIBLY HIGH ACCURACY, MAKING IT BEST AT USING RANGED WEAPONS.
>IT'S STRENGTHS ARE SPEED AND ATTACK.
>THIS SYSTEM IS OUTDATED, BUT IS VERY EFFECTIVE AT TARGETING VITAL POINTS ON ENEMIES.

Ok, well that sounds like it would be useful if you had some sort of gun. You select the "BCS" class.

>BASIC COMBAT SYSTEM
>THIS SYSTEM HAS ALL-AROUND DECENT ATTACK, DEFENSE, AND SPEED.
>THIS SYSTEM IS SEMI UP-TO-DATE, BUT IS MADE FOR BEGINNERS.

Well that seems nice. Which class will you select?

Yeah, BCS.
Is there anything else? Look up "CRCD-A" or "CRCD-A MISSING."

You select the BCS class. You figure it would be best for now. The screen changes and displays the message:

>WELCOME, BCS-A.

After a few moments, it goes to a different screen, saying something about "TAMS NETWORK." It seems to have a listing of all the different TAMS, and they all seem to have the same name setup as you. You're wondering about that name, "CRCD-A," so you select it's name.

>CRCD-A, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS TAMS1 OR TAMS-A
>TAMS1 WAS THE FIRST IN THE TAMS SERIES, USING THE FIRST COMBAT SYSTEM.
>THIS SYSTEM WAS NAMED "CYCLE ROUND COMBAT SYSTEM," LATER CHANGED TO "CYCLE ROUND COMBAT DRONE."
>IT WAS NAMED THIS BECAUSE OF TAMS1'S HABIT OF "TAKING TURNS" ATTACKING THE ENEMY.

>TAMS1 WENT MISSING ON IT'S FIRST MISSION, ALONG WITH MCS-B, FMS-C, AND RCS-D.
>DESPITE SEVERAL SEARCHES, THE FOUR TAMS WERE UNABLE TO BE FOUND.
>THE TRILOSLYNNE MILITARY DIDN'T ATTEMPT TO RECREATE THEM ON THE CHANCE THAT THEY MIGHT RETURN.

Well, that's helpful. What now?

Well, it would be interesting if you switched back to what you preferred back in the day.
Might not be the best idea, but worth a shot for uncovering your memories.

You try to go back to the class selection screen on the chance that you do turn out to be this "CRCD-A" thing, but the computer promptly locks you out and shuts down.

Well, that was rude.

What will you do now?

Might as well walk out of the cave and hope that you're water-proof.

Well you'd assume you're water-proof, who know how long you were sitting in this water?

Examining the wall behind the computer, you see a dark passage that you hadn't noticed before. Going through there would mean that the only light you would have would be from your eyes.

Continue anyways or find a different way?

Search for alternatives before heading forward.
Or weapons, that would work too.

Also, kinda wondering if this is just impromptu or pre-written.

I'll update after lunch when I hopefully have some more suggestions.
Also, kinda wondering if this is just impromptu or pre-written.
Actually, I started this without really having a clue where it was going. I'm sure I'll come up with a basic storyline as we go along though.

double toast for update

You don't feel too sure about what might be through that passage, so you look around the room a bit more. You look closely at the water to see if you can find any weapons.

After a bit of searching, you find a small gun, you aren't sure what kind of gun, and a small knife. You store them in the utility belt you just noticed you had.

Besides those things, you don't see anything else besides rocks that would be useful. No other passages, either.

Figuring it's now or later, you step through the dark tunnel.

Oddly, the walls light up faintly as you pass. Well, you suppose it's better than no light at all. The ground seems to slope downwards a bit, you notice that when you realize that the water is up to your knees.

You are forced to stop when you come to a locked door. The water is up to your waist now, and you can't keep yourself from shivering. Next to the door is a keypad. You can only hope that it works.

What will you do?

Attempt to access, using the same method that tomcat suggested.

Well, you aren't sure if you'll be able to hack into a keypad like thi-

Hang on, is that rumbling?

You're thrown to your feet as something bursts through the door and tackles you onto the floor, plunging you beneath the freezing water.

>COMBAT BEGIN
>THE COMBAT WILL WORK ON A ROLL-TO-DODGE BASIS.
>THIS MEANS THAT YOU GIVE ME A SUGGESTION, AND I WILL ROLL FOR IT.
>THE HIGHER THE ROLL, THE BETTER.

What will you do?

ACTIVATE NIGHTVISION AND/OR INCREASE BRIGHTNESS SETTING ON YOUR EYEBALLS
If this is actually a feasable command, lemme know.

Punch the creature off of you, then stand.
