Everyone here involved in an argument is an idiot.

Why, you ask? You're on the internet. Do you care that much about what other people think?

I really hope you get your ass banned for posting that.

What's your point? You are trying to pin all wars on god, but without the idea, we'd still have war. Religion is used to get dumb people to do things, without it, other things would be used to make dumb people do things
What, no. I'm not trying to pin wars on god. Where did you get that from? :s

Doing what you want alone is not enough to make one happy, I've had some pretty happy times in my life, but it's not because I got to do what I want, and I've had some pretty sad times. But it wasn't because I didn't get to do what I want
Examples?

You are asking everyone short statements about the crusades as if we'd say something that'd directly poke a hole in our logic

But I'm not blaming God. I don't think God exists, so I can't blame him. I'm blaming people who think that what they are doing is in the name of God.

Why would he get banned for that? It's not a bannable offense.

Plus he's right.

It's called critically thinking. That's why people argue on the internet.

-Don't care don't post
-To cool for the internet

It's more than likely the people who start this stuff don't believe it's from god. I'm pretty sure someone who wants to start stuff just finds a large gullible support group, like Christians

Allah and God are the same person from a third person point of view. All these Gods defined by different religions are the same, they are just different aspects of the same person.

I'll give you an example.

I called your mother an starfish.
You called your mother the nicest person to ever live.

We both have different beliefs about the same concept(your mother), does that make her 2 different people? No, they are just two aspects of the same person. Which makes her one person(divine being) with different components(religion).

That is my theory.
A.) Look at your inbox

B.) That's both true and false depending on how you look at it. There's that, but then if you have too many different views, it basically becomes a different person. What if one person thought God was what Christians view him as, and another group thought of God as another word for anchovies?

Examples?
When I do what I want, it doesn't always make me happy. But there is plenty of things that can make me sad that I can change, but I don't want to, because that will make me even more sad. What if I get a job offered to me, but I have to do something wrong to get it? I can't do that, I don't want to do wrong. Either way it's a lose-lose situation. I'm going to probably be sad. Doing what you want is not always going to cure any sadness you might have and make yourself happy.

Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs. My beliefs are mine, and yours are yours. I see no reason the two should mix. If you try to "convert" someone or tell them their beliefs are wrong, you're a dumbass.

That's what I would do...

the rulers as useful.” ~Seneca Quote

I looked at my inbox, good answer btw. But look at the president, there are so many different views about him(best president, worst president, gullible, professional, stupid black man, intelligent black man, pseudo, genuine, etc.) The list goes on forever, but he is still the same person.

Anyone with a shred of intelligence and an understanding of logic will read the bible and immediately discard it as a fairy tale and not something that should be taken as fact.

Most people are Christians based on what their parents told them to believe, not on what they read in the bible themselves.
Please,... so the leading religion in the world is based off a book which, according to you, tells them to turn away from their beliefs.  In fact, the contradictions in the Bible are vastly fewer than that of an Atheist's beliefs.

To be an Atheist is a false claim, because when we follow our own will, we can rightly be called "the gods of our own lives".  Because followers of the Teachings and will of Jesus Christ, as conveyed in the Bible, are call CHRISTians, therefore by no means could anyone be called an Atheist, unless they have absolutely no free will.  Since all humans have (give or take) free will, then they are the followers of their own morals and self-philosophy.  At this point, then, there are no atheists that have free will.

inb4 this gets moved to drama
