This is actually my standpoint on the discussion.
I haven't showed my opinion yet and I think Davy is right. What a nice poster.

I think it would just be dandy if we all agreed to disagree on politics and religion and shut the forget up.

So many people assuming that their ego is too large for this forum.

Has anyone who claimed my posts are stupid even take the time to read and compare them?  My god, if "Atheists" call Christians ignorant, then that is plain hypocrisy.

How about you look up what hypocrisy actually means

I don't believe in people deciding chances and making ignorant assumptions that they're instantly smart because they can fathom up half-assed logic that no one can answer to as it can't be directed at them.

All i'm saying is that we'll never know. What's the point even trying to believe that we know what created the universe. It sure is unlikely it was some bearded dude in the sky but it's just as unlikely that it was caused by a simple 'explosion'.

I'm willing to let that happen.

But what dkamm posted pissed me off a bit.

Sorry dkamm.

I suggest you read it again and attempt to comprehend it correctly this time.

You were right in my comprehension of it. I misread the first few panels and thought he said he was initially attacking religion, but instead attacked the person.

Please gather information from all parties before making an ignorant post.

Fixed

looks at first few rows

Let's see, it calls theists stupid without reason
It lists some questions atheists have without even trying to look at answers some people have given
compares to santa
calls it a failiure

I don't see any good arguments, or even much logic for that matter
I have faith that the comic is true.

So when you drop a glass of milk the glass doesn't shatter and disperse into tiny pieces (planets) and the milk doesn't diffuse(space)?

Kk

If god is divine and caring and he can do anything why does he not prevent terror?
If he does not, he is not loving or caring.
If he can't he is not divine.
Man has free will.
God does not prevent these things because he does not want to change our history... Yet.

I choose to live without dumb rules like "You can't lust over a woman, it is sin" I mean seriously? You can't help it, you can deny that you felt lust, but you can't control it.
That's true. I can say I'm not lusting over a woman, but I cannot help myself.

I really don't know why people worship him, I should name myself God and  people shall worship me, I mean really it's the same thing. So my argument is that both are false to a certain extent, it's a matter of how you want to live.
People worship him due to faith. I don't follow the rules of the bible to the letter, but there are those that do.

I see what you're saying here, but I really don't see how we could prove one theory correct or incorrect.
