Author Topic: Death of a hard drive: REBORN  (Read 2989 times)

so I think I mentioned about a week ago that my external hard drive wasn't working well it was because my dad like pulled all the wires on the router, wifi and external' and knocked them on the floor
so we only got around to taking it to the computer shop in town today and they said

you'll never get anything off it
from what the guy told us I think the arm that reads the discs is broken were thinking of taking it somewhere else

you have no idea how much I had on that :'(

I don even know what all I had on it all I know for sure is

almost all my pictures - I liked to do allot of photo editing stuff so thats a BIG deal to me

Steam - basically all my games like 60 something I'd played about half way through most of them so I don't think I'll ever do all that again

other misc games - most of my remaining disc games fable 2-3 all the Lego games and BLOCKLAND D': that means all my saves Everything I ever built!

school stuff - I don't even know I didn't keep all if it on there

misc other stuff - videos, folders, paint, audacity, patterns for woodwork

I know I can re-download allot of this stuff but none of my work

please tell me I might be able to get it back :'(
words can't come close to describing how I feel

That Sucks.

Go beat up your dad

You only have Fable 2 and 3 for PC? I have Fable 1 biotch.

Anyways, That really sucks. Any warranties on it?

You should've kept your stuff in a safer place.

It's your fault.

now he says it was an accident and that hes sorry and says whatever it costs to fix it is ok

that's just how he is he'll do something crazy or whatever and then act like it didn't happen or like he wasn't mad

it's like in the family some chemical imbalanceor something on my dads sides he gets depressed and such supposedly I do too but whatever

sorry I went off topic there I'm just still kind of a little bit freaking out about this

You should've kept your stuff in a safer place.

It's your fault.

It's my fault m dad threw it on the floor?

fine I don't even care ill just go beat myself to death with a frying pan

Of course you'd say something like that.

IUV is IUV
Nobody's perfect, there's no point trolling them for it.

IUV is far from perfect

in fact, i'd say he's the polar opposite of perfect.

You only have Fable 2 and 3 for PC? I have Fable 1 biotch.

I actually don't remember if I had fable 1 or 2 it might not have even been installed on it

and I don't think the warranties will be any good for geting any of my data back

It's my fault m dad threw it on the floor?

That's what I said.

Learn to keep valuables in a safer place.

IUV is far from perfect

in fact, i'd say he's the polar opposite of perfect.

That's a terrible thing to say.

Please revise your moral values.

Of course you'd say something like that.

Who the hell even are you.

Leave me alone.

Who the hell even are you.

Leave me alone.
Haha, and this is the first time I've even talked directly to you. It's not an easy thing to get someone to 'leave you alone' on an internet forums.

That's a terrible thing to say.

Please revise your moral values.
tell that to tony's dog

here's a last resort:

I know that steam should keep all of your saves in the steam cloud, so that should be good
