My father is having a problem with his MyTouch: Whenever he plays something on Youtube and locks the screen/shuts the screen off, the video pauses. This just started happening out of nowhere.

That's usually what happens when you play a video then lock the screen

Is there any reason why this is bad?
This is normal, lets you use only one touch to both pause the video and lock the screen, rather than two.

Why would you want the video playing if you have the screen off?
