I listened to one once, it is pretty depressing music. Not as an insult, but the lyrics were pretty sad. I've got nothing against people who like them though.

Edit: Unless it's those cigarettes who like Pink Floyd just to say that because it's cool for some reason.

They're lyrics can be pretty god damn depressing if you want them to be. I just look at their music with optimism, as if they're the musical doomsday prophesizers.

eh, greenday is ok. i know an italian guy who always listens to greenday because he thinks it's so "american." i just nod my head and try to keep him away from justin beiber and TV in general when he comes over on business. thank god the guy can't speak english, or else he would loving hate america.
