Author Topic: Airsoft Fort  (Read 1720 times)

I would really like to make one, but I do not really know even how to start. I have seen the videos and I really want to make one. I went to my frineds farm and tried but the first time we used old sugar cane sticks and stuck them in the ground one by one. It failed miserably. The second actually turned out alright, but it was 1 story, really bulky, and only room for 1 person sitting down.

Any tips or how tos?

wtf do you mean
An airsoft fort, you know...... you build them and fight in them, look it up on youtube or something.

What I do is I nail planks of wood to tree trunks

flawless

If mud is readily available, you could use the sugar cane design, but pack mud around them.

It just takes hundreds of them, thats why we quit, and most of the cnaes were crooked

if you want a REALLY sturdy base see if you can get some fiberglass and nail it to the wood

Straight outta the Army handbook, brother.

Step 1: Dig trench or foxhole. (Armpit deep, although I guess you can make it more shallow)

Step 2: Stack 2 log or other material behind you (opposite of desired firing direction) with supports so they do not fall.

Step 3: Put 1 log or other material in front to prop your gun up on.

Step 4: Make overhead cover using logs, planks, sticks, etc. Make sure to leave space between the roof and the 1 log in front so you can see and fire out of it.

Step 5: Camouflage your position and clear a range of fire. (Make sure not to go overboard on camouflage and only clear out what is necessary)

I've never done it myself, but it seems like a decent plan. Good luck!

from my experience on airsoft fields i can tell you, the best way to make an airsoft "fort" is to take ply wood (ply wood, not composite board, composite melts in rain. plywood will split if it's cheap stuff, not that it matters much once it's nailed in place.) and nail those boards on to some wooden crossbeams that you've dug into the ground. if you want a roof i'd suggest some kind of plastic board or plexi glass over wooden supports, but if you want to be particularly cheap you can replace the glass or plastic with a plastic tarp nailed to plywood. what you need to remember is you need to use nails while doing this, you also need to make sure that you dig small holes in tight soil to put the support beams and struts in, if not the whole building could come down, possibly hurting someone. also, if you have any cement you'll want to use it to fill the holes you put the support beams in, and possibly the floor if you're feeling up to it.
