Author Topic: Sucessful Wubi Install!  (Read 402 times)

Well, I got it working, after trying Ubuntu and Puppy Linux, I tried to use the Wubi Installer. Now I'm running Ubuntu at a very minimum level (Space limit is 10GB) and it's pretty sleek. I might change the preferences so that this has more space. I'm going over to the windows side real quick though just to make sure everything is fine.

I used to use Ubuntu, but after Unity it took a HUGE amount more resources.

I switched to Debian for a while and eventually back to Windows because I'm lazy, too lazy to configure.

I switched from Unity back to the old Ubuntu.
I hate Unity, it's like some kind of tablet interface.

Back on the Windows side of things.

I used Ubuntu 10.04 on my dads computer, but 11.01 is so much nicer and cleaner. The interface is exceptionally good.

You're talking about that interface, right? I'm loving it.

Edit: Back over to Ubuntu.

I hate ubuntu. Can't stand it. I just don't want to lose all my stuff in a switch to Arch Linux then have to configure everything to be the way I like it.

cd /
rm -r *

Lol how can someone love unity.
Plus on 12.04 They are going to make a new "hud" which is total crap.
Switch to KDE or XFCE
