striped walls sometimes "look good" in Blockland because of the style of Blockland. It makes it cartoony if you know what i mean.

I hate these things too lol.
People spam their house walls full with ramps to make it look fancy and stuff, not realizing it makes it look like a wooden sculpture of an infected snake made by an amateur sculptor.

Stripped walls can be used on SOME OCCASIONS... If the house/building design is retro, the stripped wallpaper looks more vintage, if the colors go right. However, they usually don't look right. I use them a few times, but not in every room in my houses. I'm building a house at the moment, the kitchen and the lounge has stripped wallpaper. Sneek peek:
Note: Only the kitchen and the lounge have this style, everything else has it's own solid color.

You should all stop yelling at him that what he's saying is wrong and anyone can build what they want. This topic just shows some of the many things that bother people in this game and how poor some of the building choices are. He's simply stating his decision and giving out tips.
