Author Topic: IGN hacked, first actual intellegent post on IGN is made.  (Read 3028 times)

i like how people complain about the call of duty story killing, but they don't complain about gta 4

GTA is relatively older compared to the newest CoD. Everyone WAS complaining about the nonstop violence, just around the release time.

ike a jab at my intelligence doesn't go very far coming from you.

I could say the same.

i offer 10fold more real discussion in these forums then you ever have.

Maybe that's cause I like to stay away from the serious business discussions cause know-it-alls such as yourself tend to flock there.

usually when topics require more thought, i only ever see you complain about other's comments, offering none of your own.

That's only because you look in a few boards limited to the Off-topic section.

grow up some

Can it, bub. I'm more mature for my age than you are for yours.

Regardless, this isn't about I'm not one for discussing things, this is about a shocking article on IGN. You misinterpreted what the writer said, and you have too much of a swelled head to admit it.

im no... i interpreted perfectly what the writer wanted the article to sound like.
and i seen right though it for what it really was.
there was no misunderstanding.

if the game had really saturated the market in its own franchise, then they wouldnt have made a 2nd or 3rd. and clearly your (and the writer's) theories have been proven wrong with record breaking sales.

so are you just wanting to insult the players of the game's stupidity? or is the writer just wrong about the overuse of elements in the games?

numbers dont lie. the writer had an agenda

Sadly, I'm one of the worst kinds of people playing CoD. I buy the games for the sake that all my friends play them. :c
Frankly though, there are far better games out that there that deliver a better multiplayer experience.

the article may be 100% correct that to much shock value has cheapened the game.

but the writer's solutions of recreating the franchise is proven wrong. when something isnt broken, you dont fix it. regardless of some hater's articles. they dont speak for the consumers.

Call of Duty needs creativity in their games, MW, MW2, MW3. They're the same thing, what changes is the graphics.

Maybe a different art style, invented guns, instead of copied ones.

Call of Duty could be a game that could glue you to the gameplay, not leveling up, not having all guns, not having prestige, etc.

Because when you get all these things the game gets pretty boring.

Treyarch and Infinity Ward have the capacity to make a fun game, like TF2(not anymore). But now it's so generic, that you can't even tell what game it is anymore.

I think what are we all asking here is for fun games, like the old ones, maybe Counter-Strike 1.6, etc. These were fun games to me, and still are!

I like some of features in CoD, like national socialist Zombies, that was a good experience, It had a nice story, a great concept, and it was fun like hell!

I may have ran from the point of the thread, but I still have a point.

mw3 multiplayer is the worst stuff i have ever seen

you can hardly even kill anyone with explosives anymore and you have no idea if someone has blast shield, plus you die almost always unless you have quickdraw in a face to face gunfight where you miss your hipfire shots while trying to aim down sights

Call of Duty is more of a trainment to make you a soldier or something, because when you go to the loving battlefield, you won't feel bad for exploding people, knifing people, torturing people and shooting people. And what's worse, is because nobody sees it, If I said this to someone at school they'd go, "Shut up it's a game dude!!".

Walk around aiming all day with Stalker since it's the only good green/yellow perk.

No I did not say that, I'm just saying that it'll be easier to do those things.
