I bought 93 cards
Several of which allowed me to build the startup of some new decks-
Earth
Water
Improving my Fire Deck
Gladiator Beasts(I managed to find 3 andals all together in a row)
And Koa'ki Meiru(Amazingly, I can't find one single loving Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru)
I've got some extra cards for trading, but it seems like everything went quite well.


Did I mention I found a Magical Scientist?
Totally Banned, but I know someone will trade for that mess at school.

Also, I've got a stuffload of traps, like, I managed to find 3 giant trap holes, 3 automatic lasers(koa'ki Meiru Trap hole), and some other mess, it was great.
Going back tomorrow to find some more so I can improve my deck.

My longest duel yet, the guy seemed to have an unlimited supply of defenses.
But I eventually beat him, here are his stats:

Guy was a total richard, the entire duel, blatantly using limited/banned cards regardless of my usual "Do not use semi-limited/limited/banned cards in this room!" note. And he didn't even admit defeat, he just left after I had my combo set up. (I could've summoned another blue-eyes ultimate the next turn) but *shrug* it was fun, regardless.

Or, you could've just kicked his ass regardless.
I mean, it would be a show of skill if you beat him effortlessly even if he did use banned/limited cards.

I'm usually available in the noon, but I might be heading to the deep to get some Iron Core's of Koa'ki Meiru.
Right now, I have 3 trap holes in that KM deck that won't work without the iron core, and one guy I know has one Iron core, but if I ever manage to find the other ones....

Sounds like a good time, try to bring a deck with as few semi-limited/limited/banned cards as possible, since the deck I'm sure you're interested in facing is void of those cards.

Question: What is the best way to beat any deck based entirely on the Ancient Gear stuff? Traps are useless against the things, and Ancient Gear Castle just means that any attempts to subdue the tide of metal using your own monsters and higher tribute summons result in Ancient Gear Golem appearing in play and basically destroying everything without much effort.

Okay, once again this is not actually related to the Duelling Network much at all, but even the terrible CPU on Spirit Caller having that type of the stuff is the only type I can't beat; seriously, screw the final boss and the shadow riders, they were easy.

This duel was pretty fun, I really thought I was going to lose it, but I turned the entire duel around in 1 move, wiped out all of his monsters, summoned two Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragons. Boom, lifepoints gone =D

His stats aren't as good as the others though.
