3 dimensional animation can be difficult if you are not practiced at it with any program. And the Blender interface needs time to be learned.

Milkshape 3d is pretty similar as well but costs money.

But so does any other program. You can't let this deter you, because it's consistent across all. Perhaps Blender's layout is the most intimidating, but it's quite dynamic when you get used to it.

I say go with Blender.

But milkshape does has it's abilities.
