You can skip the real article and just read his quote and still get the same effect. Religion does not belong in the United States, and being such a "patriot" Paul needs to understand why the founding fathers tried to make the church and state wall.

Yes, I meant in the government. Religion has its place in society, but that place is not fostering truth or influencing government decisions.
