Will physic bricks (killed bricks) cast shadows?

Yes. -- kompressor

Someone posted a gyazo image link, which doesn't like being hotlinked in the OP. Ended up a stretched weird face. I don't know anything about the site except it's crap.

This is probably going to sound nitpicky, but while I have your attention, is there any way to lower the draw distance below the minimum?

That would make blockland run even better on horrible computers like mine, and would probably help you gain support of the weaker-computer community that plays blockland.

SEE OP: "But my computer can’t run shaders/is lame and slow/has broken drivers!" Get a new video card, even a $20 lame-o ATI or nVidia video card can run Blockland very well these days. BUT - you can turn shaders off, and the game will run and look as good as it ever has. -- kompressor

I don't know how, but these screenshots are giving me motivation to work on my Breach TDM.

Keep 'em coming, komp!

Quick question, do you have somewhat of an idea for when this update will be released?
I figured pretty soon, (before now) because you posted this topic.

Hot. Very, very hot.

I saw that part.
I have a netbook, which is an absolute pain in the ass to upgrade parts on, if not impossible.
I also do not have the funds to upgrade to an actual desktop.

I'm telling you Kompressor, the game does not "run as good as it ever has". It has never run 'great' for me.
Lets try a different approach, why can't the draw distance go under 100?

EDIT: Again, I'm not concerned about shaders, it's the brickcount.

Will rooms need to actually be lit with lights now?

Will rooms need to actually be lit with lights now?
From what I understand, if you want light in there, you to have lights in there.

Will rooms need to actually be lit with lights now?
Well, for my answer, I hope that mission editor is made into a fully-fledged mapping tool that allows you to set the minimum amount of light that a sealed room can have.
 - I'll let the admins decide.
(Interrogation in a tiny room ftw)

Question:  Will the shadow distance be altered any?  Currently, when flying a plane, only a few feet off the ground the shadow fades out.  Will this be set to a considerably higher limit?
 - (No, this is not about the physics properties of the vehicles)

Follow-up:  If so, will it apply to bricks, bots etc.?

Physical Shadows?

SWEET JESUS HAVE MERCY DEAR KOMP

Anymore screenshots you take could not be DOF, please? The effect DOF makes only shows up in the screenshot. It's cooler to see how it looks in real-time.

Shadows? I am going to go clean my keyboard now.

Are you going to put out a video demonstrating the effect in real time with an fps counter and all that stuff anytime soon?

I'm saving komp's pictures and putting them in my blockland screenshots folder so they show up on the menu.
Can't get enough of them.
lovey tunnel. <3

So will most default builds be lost in the new update?

No -- kompressor.
