sorry if this point has been made already but,

if someone who is new to the game feel isolated in Slate with 150 bricks? or are you going to raise the demo brick limit.

Oh stuff that is a good point.  I usually load the bedroom if I do not plan on building something extensive because otherwise the map is very lonely.  Hooray for the coziness of the bedroom.

A player new to blockland will likely not get as excited over their first impression simply because th egame will seem empty without a map to explore.  Perhaps the game could load builds such as the bedroom build from the start game menu?  Oh dear I feel like I'm getting off-topic again.

Make a topic about this.  It's definitely worthy.

Yes but I don't think such add-ons would work in demo mode.

Will brick textures work?

They will work as they do now. -- kompressor

@Komp you said something about your plans for brickTOP textures, and how they are going to be affected?

I'm telling you Kompressor, the game does not "run as good as it ever has". It has never run 'great' for me.
Lets try a different approach, why can't the draw distance go under 100?

EDIT: Again, I'm not concerned about shaders, it's the brickcount.
????

Because it breaks the skybox rendering. It also breaks interiors but that's obviously not going to be a problem going forward. Now that I've answered you, tell me what computer/graphics card you use. -- kompressor

Nexus, are you that ignorant?

I'm not even going to repeat myself anymore.

If people fail to see that this is 91 pages of the same stuff coming up and being proven wrong over and over and over, that'll be their own fault. Good luck with your tears, kompressor's turning it into a princess, and for good reason.

Princesses are easier to customize (they like new fashion!) than a very fragile rock.

Not sure if this has been said before, but will players get their own shadows on bricks?

Edit:  no response :(

Did anyone notice these?

Come a long way since 2007, kom...
This also in relation to this ^

On another note:  Will changing bricks to/from transparent colors mess up the shadows?

No. -- kompressor

^Good to know.  Thanks

But what if I don't care what the skybox looks like :c
I use an Acer Aspire One D150 with an Intel GMA 945 graphics card. It goes without saying that it's stuff.

I bet you're running out of memory/CPU, not graphics power. Make sure you have latest drivers + have shut down all open programs. Everything. -- kompressor

I think you are targeting the wrong person also seriously if this needs to get deleted then why does chrono's random attack get left?

Sorry, but I've gotta get in on that fan-art thing. Excuse the lack of drawing effort.

Wait, will we able to make our own shaders, like the Minecraft shader mod?

My guess is adjust the lighting color and angle.
