Author Topic: Shader Mountain  (Read 2532 times)

This is exactly why i want terrains to go away, so creative people like you can create awesome maps out of bricks, meaning you can change it when you want, get others to add details and make it look pretty good, along with hawt new shaders and graphics. Amazing.

I just need to add 2 more things to minimap :D

This sounds like it will be a great TDM. Good luck.

Finished the Minimap, about to update the OP with pictures.
Don't worry, I didn't have enough space to actually show the ropes, so I just did the best i could.
It's not really that mixed and mashed up.

Now I'm working on just some terrain blocks I will be using. Nothing special.
Though if someone can help make trees, that'd be awesome :)

Are the combat vehicles private addons?

The name alone made me spit out my imaginary coffee. Do you even know what a shader is?

Shader
In the field of computer graphics, a shader is a computer program that is used primarily to calculate rendering effects on graphics hardware with a high degree of flexibility. Shaders are used to program the graphics processing unit (GPU) programmable rendering pipeline, which has mostly superseded the fixed-function pipeline that allowed only common geometry transformation and pixel-shading functions; with shaders, customized effects can be used.
It's just a loving name. Thats a temporary one if you actually took the time to read the loving topic

Might wanna build, this looks awesome.

Advanced roping system?

Advanced raping system  :cookieMonster:

If I'm going to help in any way possible, I'm not loving doing that rope thing.

To begin with..
1) It'd look hideous.
2) Having it on the edge it is would be sheerly handicapped.
3) Ropes would not look right.

There is no ropes, they just look like them. Those are the bridges.

ugh nty kthxbai

In general, forget that.

Am I stupid or is it wrong for me to think that the new shading may not work with custom bricks like 1x1 poles?
I'm pretty sure they will...?

Sounds like a cool idea, I'd be willing to help on weekends.
