do those ads and the possibility of the school calling my mom ruin everything?

Author Topic: Opinion of my attempt at excused absence hooky?  (Read 1353 times)

so I am now asking for an opinion of whether or not you think I am forgeted. I had to call the school to find the number. Then my fax machine wasn't working (we recently switched over to magic jack or whatever its called and its not set up properly), so I decided to send it through a website called freepopfax.com Which may or may not have worked, but I got a confirmation email from the site and it showed what it faxed.
Here's a picture:

do those ads make it obvious that the student sent the fax?
also forgot to remove my moms phone number which may be a problem, but I don't think they've called before

Just curious, but why are you staying home?

Well my alarm didn't go off and I woke up late, my mom wrote me a late note to give in but I decided I didn't feel like going. I just took her signature off the late note and copied it onto a absent note.

I can't find the fax number. You could always try calling the front office and ask them for the fax number. It won't be too obvious.

Odd, there doesn't seem to be a fax number in the contact info for north high school. Either way It shouldn't be a big deal if you are missing school legitimately.

hmm I think i might be able to email this after scanning it to the computer, but I have to find the email now.

ah I found the fax number

I think you're forgeted. Let me know if I'm right.

not sure yet, I haven't gotten a phone call from mom but on progressbook ( a way for parents to go online and check grades and stuff) its says that there is an unexcused full day absence for today.
This could mean that they didn't get the fax and didn't change, didn't change it yet, or that they aren't accepting the note as an excused absence for whatever reason.
