Author Topic: Riffs  (Read 1004 times)

I have recorded a play through of some riff ideas. I'm trying to record at the speed of light in anticipation for my very first show and I want material to provide for the record label executive that will be there. What is your opinions on these riffs? Is the structure okay? Do I need to make a part longer? Shorter? snake? Vagina? Discuse.

how people manage to play guitar that quickly is beyond me.

I feel like maybe the second to last riff should be a little longer.

Need volume equilaization. I hear too much drums and not enough guitar.

That fingering is off the charts.

Epic stuff VH

Thanks for the positive feedback. Is there anything about the riffs I should change?

it's good, but i think the black nail polish is a bit much. purple or dark red would much better bring out the upside down cross earrings you bought at hot topic.

Ignoring the comment about nail polish, I think you should play Classical Music instead.

I hope this helps.

There are some parts where it doesn't look like your hand is actually moving, but holy stuff, you are amazing.

I'm glad even girl VH isn't allowed to wear nail polish, and I bought my earrings off eBay.

Metal is just intense classical music.

I'm bad about hammering on/pulling off too much, it takes away from the power of the riff.

Metal is just intense classical music. With guitars, loud drums, and possible screaming.

I'm bad about hammering on/pulling off too much, it takes away from the power of the riff. Let's go with that.

These are really good, how long have you been playing guitar?

I never knew much but me played guitar on this forum...

I thought most played the xylophone..

Good job.
