Author Topic: I have the actual really old Lord Of The Rings book  (Read 1495 times)

Not 100% maybe, but they do say friend and black man/men/rider alot in the first half of Fellowship of the Ring.
That is, until they learn what they're called
But friend's a common thing. And they say queer a LOT in the Hobbit.

Yeah I know, I was just putting it out there.

They do. If you'll remember when Tolkien wrote those books, it was common terminology back then.

Yeah. I wish they didn't take such awesome words and use them to label homoloveuals.

OP should read the whole series
Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, Unfinished Tales

I want to read the Adventures of Tom Bombadil.

Tom Bombadil is awesome, him and his wife Goldberry, best scene in the first half of Fellowship imo.
