Apparently GIMP doesn't support SVGs. Is there a program just for down-scaling an image and saving it as a .svg? I don't want to have to download InkScape just to save images as .svgs.

if an image wasn't originally an SVG and it was a bitmap it won't work if you try to embed it in a webpage as an SVG.

even when you're not embedding the image it's still a bitmap and still retain it's pixelness.

and yeah, you can open SVGs with gimp but gimp saves bitmaps only from my knowledge.

Aw. I was hoping I could use it so when I use the Megashot feature in Blockland, when I scale the image down it won't lose quality.
