I bought this program earlier called Frames4 by the Tech4Learning company. It's intended for schools but I was familiar with it at the time. It's intended to be very basic so that kids who have no idea can understand (Me at the time) but can be mildly extendable. I tried making videos with it but they always came out crappy, and I could never figure out why. Now, I'm getting the most out of it. Every decal I've made past January of 2011 was made using it, and recently after not using it, I've messed with the setting and discovered that it is actually pretty extendable. Designed for animating and stop motion, you can't make any stops higher than 10FPS. But after messing with the settings I can now make custom animations as high a frame rate as I want (I set it at 60FPS), I can export it in a very high quality, I have the option of many compression formats, and I can change the quality of the audio in many different ways.
Edit: The only down side is a hell of a long export time.
Do you do the same thing with things like this?
