I can get a reasonable amount of time out of Minecraft if I'm playing singleplayer, but after awhile, I get quite bored.
I didn't quite mind it so much prior to the full release, because updates were more often and always seemed to add something new to test out.

Now it's no longer got Notch on it, since he seemed to rush the game to get it to a "finished point" despite leaving it with a stuffty ending, incomplete aspects and plenty of glitches and then just quit on it.
I like the work that Jeb does on it, but it's awfully slow with just him.

When I find something new and interesting to do on it, I'll give it a play.
But normally I can't get super interested unless I'm playing online with someone else.

I like how everybody goes "MC and ROBLOX is can't be compared to BL. They're completely different games with no similarities". Yet at the same time, these three games are the only ones who get compared. Over and over again.
Do you see anyone trying to compare Pinball to Blockland? No. Because they're completely different games.
The truth is that BL, MC and ROBLOX are very similar to each other in some aspects. They all appeal to people who seek a game where you can create things with geometrical shapes, similar to lego bricks. They're all sandbox games without a real objective.
There are of course differences, but the similarities are obvious.
