Please dont start stuff like this, ESPICIALLY on general discussion. If you must keep this flame war thread then remove minecraft off the pole because it has nothing to do with Blockland. MC is a survival game, in it you are allowed to build LIMITED by the same size and shape of a block.

Roblox and Blockland are about building with different sizes and shapes of blocks, physics and scripting as well.

Okay, from a certain standpoint, ROBLOX and Blockland could compared with each-other, but they're still two completely different games. ROBLOX is a website with games(places) created by ROBLOX's own users. Blockland is a game itself where people create servers, rather than games.

Minecraft on the other hand, is completely different. It's more like an RPG rather than a building game(aside from Creative mode). I can understand comparing ROBLOX and Blockland, but Minecraft has no similarities with the two, other than "you build with blocks."

I don't find Minecraft to be very comparable with Blockland, especially in its building aspect. Minecraft is (as far as I know) restricted to a single-shaped cube, while Blockland has everything else under the sun that you would see in a LEGO set.

I also have never been able to really get into Minecraft's survival mode. I don't understand the point or purpose of the game. There isn't a goal, so it feels like endless survival. When I build, I do it in Blockland so that isn't even a mode I would play in.

Roblox physics suck, they look real and all but they are twice or more slower than Blockland's physics. It does have nicer graphics I guess, with ambient occlusions turned on. Otherwise it doesnt look pretty good.

You can never position your scarves well enough against those hats.
I get into moods for playing games.
And these moods can last a week or a month or a couple of days.

At the moment, I'm not into Blockland.
I was about a week and a half ago, but not now.
But 2 weeks ago I was into Minecraft and just kept playing it and haven't touched it since.

So, I like both, but not because they're similar, because I can't find them to be similar nor can I find them to be games that I can compare the way I play. I don't know how I can say that I prefer a game about survival/mining/farming with one that's about building+sandbox.

I'll just play one for a bit then the next.
