Author Topic: How to host a dedi server  (Read 761 times)

Hey guys its me once again I want to host a dedicated server but,
When I go to the blockland folder the dedicated server thingy file
is not there :\

1. Make a shortcut for Blockland onto your desktop
2. Right click it and go to properties
3. Add -dedicated at the end (make sure there is a space between exe and -dedicated) so it looks like this:
C:\(BlahBlahBlah)\BlocklandLauncher.exe -dedicated
4. Go into the Blockland you just right clicked and let the black box do it's work
5. Right click the same Blockland again and go to properties
6. Erase the -dedicated
7. Go into the same Blockland and join your server in "Join Game"

This should work. No guarantees though.

T_T that never works for me

I made it go like "C:\Program Files\Blockland\BlocklandLauncher.exe-dedicated this and it still doesn't work! D: D:D: D:D:

3. Add -dedicated -mapnamehere at the end (make sure there is a space between exe and -dedicated and -mapnamehere) so it looks like this:
C:\(BlahBlahBlah)\BlocklandLauncher.exe -dedicated -mapnamehere
example: C:\(BlahBlahBlah)\BlocklandLauncher.exe -dedicated -bedroom
4. Go into the Blockland you added the -dedicated -mapnamehere and let the black box do it's work
5. Go into Blockland and join your server in "Join Game"

And don't forget to go back into properties and erase the "-dedicated -bedroom" before going to join your server.
