Intelligent people are rational people. They are quite aware they can get ran over by a bus the next day or have a heart attack and drop dead at any time. You can take 1 puff and die of cancer the next year or smoke 2 packs a day for 70 years and die of old age. It's kind of like the people that take 10 year off their life from stress worrying about if their diet soda is healthier than their regular soda(it isn't btw), intelligent people who smoke and like to smoke know there is comparably small risk.

look, this guy is an idiot in my opinion, and so is his daughter in my opinion. smoking on it's own is pretty stupid, you can't deny that in any way. and I was just remarking at the fact that he fits the stereotype of a southern dude pretty well.
I'm only basing this off of my own experience - my dad raised me in a completely different way, and I've never wanted to rebel against him.
and I'm not even going to comment on the idiot/common sense comment. I thought we were better friends than that.

Considering a lot of the kids on here are on the computer 10 hours a day on school days you can make the assumption none of them have very demanding or strict parents. So this guy is like the craziest worst most strict parent ever in their eyes. My parents make this guy look like Mr. Rogers.
