Hello everyone today i'm here to discuss for/against the new 21v BL update.
First of all,for those of you who don't know the 21v BL update is about kompressor & Badspot removing interiors & terrain instances;replacing them with greater shaders & shadows so blockland would look like this:
Q.What does this mean?
A.Maps such as "Bedroom" and "Kitchen" will be replaced with a normal slate,making you build it yourself and GSF files and such will no longer be compatible with blockland.
Q.Why would kompressor remove terrains and interiors to add a new feature to the game?
A.These two features complicate Blockland’s code tremendously. That means we can’t add game features very quickly. They still have bugs in them (after years of work). They are slow, too - bricks are about 90% of their speed and can do a LOT more (explosions, events, in-game editing).
Q.I rely on terrains and interiors,what should i do?
A.Build your map out of bricks or make a team and build one together.
