Kindda disappointed that it became some action comedy movie.

The flaw with the space station with miniguns is that the law of conservation of momentum tells us that if the ship fires bullets at a certain momentum, the space station would gain equal momentun in the opposite direction, and thus pushing it out of orbit and into the planet because the force due to gravity would no longer equal the net force of centrepetal motion plus the impulse of the bullets.
