I think so.

(just look at anime fans)

A deep romantic or loveual attachment to someone

so uh

i suppose "someone" has to be a real person?

yes you can, you just have to believe it is real, so if it is 'fictional' you would somehow have to concviene yourself it is 'real'.

It's definitely possible

Logical and healthy though? Unlikely

Yes, from personal experience.

Sure. You can love everything about them, and you'll be in love with them. Will they love you back? Not unless you created the character and made it so they love you. Even then you won't really be able to socialize.

Sure, but you probably shouldn't.

Love is an emotional reaction, so if you imagine someone, such as a character, you will often percieve them as "perfect" in your mind. If you go to the extent of fantasizing them as real, its easy to fall in love with them.

So yes, but it probably isn't healthy, because you can't express your love to something that doesn't exist.

I would agree that you can love it.
Love can be based entirely on just a few characteristics.
If that's loving a character just because of how they're depicted, then I'd consider it love.

I wouldn't say you'd have to have interacted with them to love them.
For example, in plenty of relationships, one person loves another for their character, even if in person, that person they love can be abusive.
I wouldn't find it possible to love someone because they're abusive, but you can certainly love their character which you initially fell in love with.

Hm I wondered the same thing. :P

no you can't love katia
that has nothing to deal with it I tell you

I don't think you love them, I think you love the IDEA of them.
just reiterating
for instance, take people who say they're in love with a famous popstar.
they could love EVERYTHING about them.
but really, they've had no interaction with them so they can't know for sure
again, they love the idea of them.

Someone screwed the Berlin wall because she believed she was in love with it. If it is not capable of showing love, in my opinion, it can not be loved.
