Making a modern house... floor ideas?

Okay, well I'm working on a house. Any ideas for the floors? I need some influence. Below is the progress and the picture it is (bleh-ly) based off of.

Not that good. I suggest you design your own instead of attempting to copy a building. In order to do that correctly you also need a floor plan of he house, of which you obviously dont have.

On the build itself, it looks nothing like modern. Houses aren't long rectangles with an entrance at one end. They also don't have ceilings at head height.

I'll agree with Conan, don't copy a house from the internet, it's best to create a design of your own. And besides, that house (not yours, the pic of the actual house) looks bad, like, modern art. "You look ugly enough to be a modern art piece Private Pyle!"
