Author Topic: Craft Haptic Rpg - Bot CI Issues :(  (Read 828 times)

So im making an rpg, right? Well.. then this bullstuff came along and its annoying the hell outta me. So help.

Problem: Whenever i killed a bot it says in chat "Quontos <CI> !"

This shouldn't happen. When i kill the bot there should be no CI.

- Funky CI happens with melee weapons only, not guns/projectiles.
- Funky CI happens only if the bot is killed while resized
- After killing bot this way, it don't respawn automatically
- After killing the bot with guns, it respawns automatically/normally
- After killing the bot with guns, i only get the CI that i made via events.

Also, when the bot kills me, his name appears as "56". Even though i set his name to "Gobby".

This issue is in the code. If your saying that i evented my bot wrong.. no.... don't even post.. But if you can help me or find out the code thats doing this, or tell me how to remove the code/fix the bullstuff, then  :cookie: 2 u.

or u could just fix it for me in some magical way

Circled in green: What i need fixed
Circled in Blue and Gold: Normal CI that i made via events (That i want to show up)

Seriously?  ...   I mean, should i delete some code somewhere?

I can do kiddie scripting stuff, but i am not really anywhere close to being considered a "Scripter" and i can make interiors, but thats pointless now anyways.

Try disabling any add-ons you don't need, like slayer, TDM, zombies, etc.

Im running basically a fresh copy of V20. Even with all default addon's but bot events disabled, it still does this bullstuff. It not any of the add-ons i have... its bullsheet.

Off-Topic: WOA! Chrono... Maybe you remember Gothboy77? He is my older brother in real life. I don't know why but i have an odd feeling you know him...

Meant to say Non-Default*

..?

Setting the bot name directly to "Bob" also worked. I couldn't get it to display a message when it killed me, other than that.. Though I'm pretty sure using <var:cl:name> to everyone in the server wouldn't work properly.. I didn't have someone else to help me test that.
