In a lapse of sudden inspiration and/or confusion, you begin to psychically hone in upon tobacco that you are more that certain is hidden under your nearest cell's bed. Something deep within your tiny plastic heart tells you to go investigate. You begin to believe there is something of memory here, despite lacking any sort of coherent outside explanation.

The notion that you smoke actually surprises you, despite the fact that you have no idea what cigarettes are or what smoking is—outside that of cars. Innocent cars. Noble cars.

Do this, you suddenly remember that you're a smoker who doesn't depend on cigs, but enjoys a smoke every now and again to help plow through a deskfull of paperwork so you can get to solving crimes.

But of course! That would explain it! My now, it's all coming back now! From somewhere. Definitely. Your memories are so certain, that of detective-work and cigarette burning.
You must've even had a gun. Detectives shoot people, right?
