Author Topic: More on the student at my school who was killed  (Read 9482 times)

He didn't pay attention and got by hit by a train. He killed himself with his stupidity, no matter how cool he might have been.
negligence =/= stupidity

Unless we're all supposed to be over-efficient?

I'm as negligent as humanly possible, but I get along well and argue well with adults, get good grades, and win stuff in general. I try to be good to people, give them second chances, and help them if they need it. I play music in a small band and save my money.
I deserve to die.

momomo

why are you talking to yourself

negligence =/= stupidity

Unless we're all supposed to be over-efficient?

it's called being normal

not over-efficient

Even if you are glued to your phone and blasting music in your ear you should be able to afford yourself a glance of what's ahead every so often. Death is a sad thing that nobody deserves, but it is indeed entirely his fault: Fail to look around every once-in-a-while -> get hit by a train.

People keep saying "it's not sad 'cause he was stupid" but it actually makes it more sad that he died from a silly mistake.

Sorry for your loss Mac, I lost a friend last week. It's tough stuff hope your okay.

silly mistake.

Meandering into an extremely dangerous area is not a 'silly mistake'.

Should'nt have blasted his music.

Wow wow wow wow wow... wow.... People, why are you not reading the title "More on the student at my school who was killed" Doesn't that mean he was murdered? I would say "died"

Meandering into an extremely dangerous area is not a 'silly mistake'.
Walking into train tracks unknowingly is pretty silly if you ask me.

then i guess walking into lava is silly, too

then i guess walking into lava is silly, too
maybe you should try it

IUV is right.

There's no way you can accidentally get hit by a train. It just doesn't happen.

The trains by my house are guarded by rail-road crossings, flashing red lights, bells, whistles, and they have their own horns they blow that can be heard within a 2 mile radius that they have to do repeatedly when entering an inhabited area.

Trains are not silent. They're not deadly. They exist on tracks and make a massive loving racket. To be hit by a train, you either have to be one of the most unfortunate people on the planet, or you have to be suicidal.

My issue with IUV is that he's a hippocritical putdowner. His deal is all about everything being people's faults. Even if they did weaken themselves to chance, accidents still happen. If you lived a life of paranoia, you would still not be guaranteed safety in any way. But even so, you DON'T HAVE TO RUB IT IN. Be compassionate! I have watched you come into these topics about genuine tragedies and simply repeat your pointless putdowner.
The only reasons to tell people that everything is their fault are to either
A. Keep them safe in a twisted way by trying to skew them paranoid,
B. Bemoan frailty of everything in general, or
C. Cause unnecessary suffering.

From what I have seen of you, the first one can be eliminated, as I have never seen any attempt at philanthropy on your part. The second I could almost believe, but it bothers people so much, I'm sure that if you were just depressed, you would probably leave us alone. Therefore, despite your protestations that you are a good person, I am satisfied that your goal here is to do harm.
