I'm gonna do Missile Survival and GTA Free Mode.

I've been brainstorming lately and I have a few ideas, and I'd like to know if any of these sound fun. I'm probably going to run the one that wins the vote.

Bullring - Two Teams, Drivers and Survivors. The amount of Drivers is dependent on the overall playercount. Drivers get in jeeps and try to run over the Survivors. Survivors win by lasting for maybe 3-5 minutes. Drivers win by killing everyone.

Missile Survival - Red Team gets to fly the Missile Vehicle, and Blue is a good distance away on the ground. The Blues are given Rifles and AA turrets. The red team has to fly the missile into the Blue's base, while avoiding fire from the Blues.

Warsport - No teams, FFA. In this the objective is to get 20 kills in 7 minutes. However this is in a large arena, and upon getting a kill there is a 1/3 chance for the crow to cheer, and if I got around to it maybe a 1/8 chance for an announcer to say something. Alongside that, there probably wouldn't be a class selection system. I'd simply spawn a player with an SMG, Pistol, and two grenades. Better weapons would be placed throughout the map.


Rocket Tennis - Two teams of 5 are put into a room where they're only given deflectors. A Gravity Rocket then spawns towards a random team to start. For a team to score a point they must get the rocket into the other teams goal or kill one of the players on the other team.
Been Done.

GTA Free Mode - This one would take longer but hopefully it'd be worth it. Players spawn in a large city with Cars around the city. People can do whatever they please in the city so long as its allowed by the rules. What might make this fun though is that through some simple eventing the car is random. Cars can either be either "Normal", "Sporty" or "Special". Normal cars are things like Sedans and Soccer Mom vans, these have a decent chance of spawning. Sporty vehicles fall under things like the Turismo or the Sport Motorcycle, these have a lesser chance of spawning.. Special Vehicles are rare and have a 1/64 chance in spawning. These are things like Helicopters and Monster Trucks.

Bullring sounds eh, but could be good with a well-designed arena

Missile Survival: No point, really. Playing without lives defeats the purpose, while playing with lives makes either one or the other team OP, based on the number of HMG turrets and guns used.

Warsport is a good idea but not a large arena. Baseplate DM's would work better.

Rocket Tennis: Sounds good.

Only problem with the GTA one is that Blockland has a 20 vehicle limit, and that'd be kinda sucky if the player limit was over 20. I made the rocket tennis work but it looks terrible.

I think I'm going to make and run Rocket Tennis First. I've made the random car spawner work really well but I'm having trouble making the roads look good.

Also I figured I'd ask this while I'm making stuff, how many bricks can the average person handle before dropping below playable performance?

But is so fun.  I wanna do this with mininukes.

That would be so fun to do.



Basically an Arrow is fired down from the first brick, where it hits one of the two 16x1's, and an arrow fired from one of THOSE. That arrow decides the vehicle. The last arrow is fired to either the bright colors or dull ones. The normal Fordor gets the dull ones, the Turismo will get one of the brighter Ones. Originally I was going to make it 64 studs long, but for the moment I wanted something that worked. I'll likely move to a 64 stud one if this idea gets good feedback.

An advantage to using the 64 stud long one would be more flexibility, since right now I only have about 18 vehicles that are going to be used on the spawners.

Also, how wide should the roads be? 64 seemed a little but small and 128 seemed too big.

EDIT: I actually created this after I tried to create one where the player made their OWN car. Sadly I realized that anyone could walk up to the creator and forget with it leaving you stranded without a car, so I made this.
