Author Topic: I got this letter from school today..  (Read 2263 times)

My school used to give us 1 terrabyte but then they were like "oh lets drop it to 100 mb lol". So to avoid memory issues with photoshop files what not I just used my usb powered 500gb external hardddrive.

Lol, 250 students, and only the last 4 years have accounts.
And we have a seperate room with 2 huge servers in it.
My school Z drive is 50GB big lollololo.

jesus christ that's a lot of stuff
i don't even have that much stuff on my computer

I don't really have that much cowstuff in my school folders, just work and fun I did on the programs in the school computers.

i have 323 GB taken up of my 1 terabyte

i have 323 GB taken up of my 1 terabyte
i have 138 GB used of 300 GB
it was somewhere around 200 GB of 300 GB until i deleted all of my fraps stuff

It's almost pointless saving things to the school system at my college because you're far from guaranteed to be able to get a computer when you need it.
I have a couple powerpoints and word documents on there from lessons that I've spent in computer rooms, but that's about it.
Anything else I'll save to a memory stick or e-mail it to myself and access/print it at home.

My School HDD is 103GB
Blockland, Chrome, Minecraft, and School work.
Free Space: 63.1GB
feels good man

Portable versions of my favorite games and applications, school stuff
what the forget
did you install every single game you own on it? my steam folder has several dozen triple-a games on it and it's only 250ish gb.

i have 20gb of 6 terrabytes

I never understand how I hear of people who put games onto their school computers and then play them.
When do you get the chance?
How long are your lunch breaks?

At my schools you would have 45 minutes on average for a lunch break.
Not enough time to eat your lunch and go get on a computer and play around for a worthwhile amount of time, especially since we were never allowed food or drink in the computer rooms.
You could theoretically do it at my college if you have Hour+ breaks, which I do, but the college computers are only for actual work and you'd be kicked out if you were using them to play games when other people need computers for work.
The only possible way I could play videogames at college would be if I bought in my own laptop.

I used to have a large collection of .jars (Java based programs) in my school documents partition. executables were blocked under a school policy.

Whenever I needed more space I asked politely and I recieved an extra 200mb. I required the space due to working in Graphics in Art and other classes though.

i don't know about you guys but in most elementary schools the majority of time being spent is trouble shooting and if you were caught playing any games you would have a "talk"

I also noticed the email had been addressed to about 25 different people on my school including all my friends who also dump all their stuff on these accounts

lol

Our schools is 20 MB.
