Author Topic: I got this letter from school today..  (Read 2247 times)

We get 2GB, but some people get "their own" laptops, which have 50ish GBs of space. It's supposed to sync to the server with the 2GB quota but the Windows server broke (the shared computers are macs) and they haven't bothered to get a new one.

All I've got on there is my GCSE ICT work. Everything else we do on paper.

I just use my own computer, never the school computers, so I wouldn't really know.

i carry around my 1tb HDD, it's as big as my cell phone with a retractable USB cable that i pull out and plug in.

it's really nice.

where. where do you get this result of black magic. please do tell me.

Our schools is 20 MB.
:/
What the hell...

One .PSD on my area could take up 20mb.

schools network drive for public use is 2.5 TB. each student is allowed 48.8 MB of space on the computer.

I remember when my school implemented a limit like this, it forgeted over people who took classes that quickly reached the limit (programming, CAD, etc)
That combined with the server frequently randomly going down for a few days at a time forced people to get with the times and spend the couple dollars to get a flash drive

But holy forget, how do you use that much space? I don't even use that much on my Home PC.
