Author Topic: Image hosts that don't suck?  (Read 2984 times)

ImageShack gives that registering bullstuff. Imgur resizes too large images and makes them JPG. TinyPic has captcha. Any image hosts around that don't suck?

gyazo No cant think of any

I recently found out that Imgur is a really fast and easy image host - just drag and drop the image on the site, then press upload.

I like large images and JPG can choke on a barrel of richards.

What's wrong with signing up with ImageShack? If you use it consistently, its not a bad thing. Its really not that hard and it takes like two seconds. You can view the uploaded images too. You can get the uploader application so you can drag drop and upload pictures. It's quite nifty.

When I upload PNG images to Imgur, they are still in the Portable Network Graphics extension. It's probably TinyPic that turns PNG images to JPG.

What's wrong with dropbox?

photobucket is really super good but it slightly decreases the quality of the image

I do not know what the forget is wrong with Dropbox. I can't even get stuff from there. Starrichards.

Also if Imgur images are too big, just resize or crop them.

Try Photobucket. It does require registering, though.

Just attach them to posts. :D

Yes this, but upload them as .png and tweak your upload settings to unaffect the size and no you don't need their pro I have had mine over 2 years now.
