grooooosssssssssss beeeeeeeattttttt

or fruity limiter that stuff

But you have to attach the limiter to something, and if there's nothing to side chain it, how is it done?!

add a channel like 3xOSC and turn down the volume all the way, then make a pattern in the step sequencer with a note every four beats. then put the pattern in the playlist.

at least I think that's how it's done.

lol just use gross beat, it's way easier than if you were to do it how i used to do it a long time ago

if you want to remove the sidechain effect for a section, just use an automation clip.

yeah gross beat is all fine and dandy but if you want to sidechain for something that isn't in a 4/4 time signature, you need to use the limiter.

haha, nope, it still works.

it just goes through only the first three beats in the case of 3/4

in the case of 5/4, it loops around and replays the first section. this might cause problems though so just use a limiter (or peak controller?) if you like to work with odd handicapped time sigs.

what about when the tempo changes over time, hmm? it'd be a major pain the ass to automate that.

besides, everyone knows that sidechaining with a limiter is what all the cool people do.

...i don't see how this would be a problem lol
