The acting is terrible, the special effects are horrendous and the plot made no sense. It was so bad it was funny.

Ha, most SyFy channel original movies suck like that. Some are rip-offs of other movies, and that one looked like it was a rip-off of Day After Tomorrow.

SyFy movies have a budget of like $20 million, whereas actual Hollywood movies run on a budget of around 10 times that.

And besides, you don't even have to pay for SyFy movies. They're free with basic cable.
