Regarding the poll, the first option would just mean people would fight for territory, and not completely wipe out the other teams. They could, but it would be very hard.

Overview

So I'm starting (another) project that (wont be finished) will revolve around the same concept as a Medieval RPG. Basically there will be a certain number of factions, all with unique perks and stuff. The point of the game is to be the winning faction, which will be achieved by either getting a certain amount of resources and build something, or killing everyone else.

Gameplay
There will be five factions, each with their own castle or main base, and each will have different available upgrades and weapons. For example, the Northern Ice Monglers (not a real name) would get strong melee units but weak priests and wizards, and therefore would have more weapon and armor upgrades.
The game wouldn't be all fighting, though. There will be 2-4 towns (haven't decided) and each will have special items, quests, merchants, and healing posts. When a faction captures a town, they have access to the town resources. The laborers of each faction cut down trees and mine ore. They get no weapons or armor, and can be killed, and although they sound worthless they are the most important unit to a faction. With resources, you can sell them to towns people, or make stuff with them, like weapons and improved castle's.
There will also be multiple hostile bots around the map, like a dragon in a cave that has rare items, or ambushing or orcs in the forest.

How to Win
Laborers will gather enough resources to create something (a boat or a super weapon or something, not sure yet). When they do that, that faction wins and the game resets. Or, the team can use resources to get stronger weapons and destroy the other factions, which will also get them a victory.

Other stuff I couldn't come up with a title for
Players start weak, virtually no weapons, going out into the forests would be dangerous.
Custom armor, weapons, and items made by yours truly.
Only 2 of the factions will get magic.
Build that will probably suck.
Friendly NPC's are not killable.
There is a chance there will be mercenaries you can higher.
Endless fun with your friends

What I Need
    A modeler, this is important because I need models for the new items, if not I'll just end up editing old models.
Feedback is also needed, I'm trying to make this as user likable as possible. Feel free to completely alter any of the ideas I have posted above.
If I actually get a modeler and good feedback on this I will probably finish it. If I get a volunteer, I will post the stuff I will want modeled. You guys can also request stuff you want. Try to keep it as realistic as possible, fantasy ideas are also accepted however.

Kill the other team and get resources to win the game.

You mispelt "hire" as "higher" on the line about mercenaries.
